例文
怒りのあまり椅子を壊した。
Ikari no amari isu o kowashita.
I was so angry that I broke the chair.
試験に合格したうれしさのあまり、電話で叫んだ。
Shiken ni goukaku shita ureshisa no amari, denwa de sakenda.
I was so happy when I passed the test that I screamed on the phone.
山本は、仕事に打ち込むあまり、自分の健康を害してしまった。
Yamamoto wa, shigoto ni uchikomu amari, jibun no kenkou o gai shite shimatta.
Yamamoto got consumed by work and neglected his personal health.
