Learn Japanese Grammar ~ ba ii (~ ば-いい)
Japanese Grammar ~ ba ii (~ ば-いい) has meaning "should, can, it’d be good if".
Formation [接続]
Verb-ばconditional form + いい
例文
じゃあ、どうすればいいでしょうか?
Jā, dōsureba ii deshou ka?
What do you think I should do?
どちらの方向へ進めばよいのか?
Dochira no houkou e susumeba yoi no ka.
Which way should I turn?
なんと言えばいいかわからないな。
Nanto ieba ii ka wakaranai na.
I don’t know what to say.
二三日じっくり考えればいい。
Ni, sannichi jikkuri kangaereba ii.
Take two or three days to think about it.
迷子にならなければいいけれど。わたし、怖いわ!
